Daily Active User Growth on X Reportedly Flattening, Since Elon Musk's Takeover

Elon Musk had previously taken over Twitter, and subsequently rebranded it to X. Following that, various changes were made to the platform – making some people stay on it, and at the same time many also left the platform for platforms like Mastodon. , BlueSky, or Threads.

Most recently, according to a FinancialTimes report, X is now showing flat active user numbers since the takeover by Elon Musk. Despite reaching a high level of daily user figures, it has remained around the figure of 250 million daily users since under Elon Musk.

Chasing X behind is Threads which now has around 175 million monthly active users. Threads is also seen to be facing challenges in continuing to increase the number of active users on the platform, as well as getting users to share through the platform.
