Elon Musk Weighs In On Whether Tesla Should Invest $5 Billion In xAI Or Instead

Elon Musk today made a poll through the X social site, asking about the need for Tesla to invest as much as $5 billion in Elon Musk's artificial intelligence company, which is xAI.

Elon Musk emphasized that the company's valuation will be done by an outside party before Tesla's investment, and as always, it is subject to approval by Tesla's shareholders and board of directors.

As many are aware, Elon Musk has several companies today and holds the position of CEO of several related companies, including Tesla, SpaceX, X Corp and even xAI.

Previously, Elon Musk had also made SpaceX buy a number of advertising campaigns through Twitter - at the same time showing the transfer of funds and money from one company to another.

Speaking about xAI and Tesla himself, Elon Musk once stated that Tesla took a number of lessons from the development of xAI, including helping in the development of Tesla's new data center, in addition to the development of self-driving technology.

Today, xAI offers a product in the form of a chatbot named Grok for X paid customers. Elon Musk markets it as the only artificial intelligence model that has access to real-time info through X data integration (formerly known as Twitter).
