Epic Games Reveals Mobile Game Marketing Strategy – Will Leave Samsung Galaxy Store

Epic Games is a well-known video game technology developer name not only in the computer game arena, but also on smart device platforms. For several years, they have been "fighting" with Apple and Google in court to get more equal profit rights for first-time developers.

Recently, Epic Games has made an announcement about several things. First, Fortnite's debut for iOS will return specifically for the European Union market via AltStore, while the Epic Games Store application that was previously only available for PC will be introduced on the Android platform globally and iOS in the European Union market.

For these platforms, it is reported that developers will only pay Epic Games a 12 percent store fee for all payments processed by them, and developers will keep 100 percent of payments made through third-party payment platforms.

The pay cut issue is one of the biggest issues highlighted by Epic Games as Apple and Google take an exorbitant cut of revenue (30% after the first $1 million for Android, 30 percent by Apple) and make it difficult for developers to make money from their work.

In the meantime, Epic Games also confirmed that their games will soon leave the Samsung Store as Samsung now prevents manual APK installation by default, and also the new discovery of how Google and Samsung are seen colluding in the marketing of applications for the Android platform by blocking the store third party.

Epic Games has not yet given more details on when they will introduce their Epic Games Store app, but they will make additional announcements about it later.
