Google Gemini Advanced uses the Gemini 1.5 Pro model and access is only granted to paid users who subscribe to Google One AI Premium. Free users limited to Gemini 1.0 Pro recently upgraded to Gemini 1.5 Flash.
This means free users now have access to multimodal based generative artificial intelligence chatbots and can also generate things at a faster rate at no cost. The Gemini 1.5 Flash context window is 32,000 compared to the previous 1.0 Pro which was limited to 8,000. It can also understand more complex questions and easily understand continuous conversations.
Free users will also be able to upload files to analyze with AI. Gemini has also been updated with each response now having a link to a source for fact-checking. Gemini 1.5 Flash can now be used in 230 countries and understands 40 languages including Malaysia and Malay.
