Google Will Remove Poor Quality And Problematic Applications From The Google Play Store

Google has now announced an update to the Google Play Store policy, at the same time informing that all applications must reach the level of standards that have been set, and applications that are of poor quality in terms of functionality will be removed from the application store.

Google emphasizes that applications must be stable, responsive, and offer a good user experience. Apps that do not have the basic quality level of a mobile app, lack content, or do not offer a consistent experience are not allowed on Google Play.

This includes applications that simply offer static content such as text or PDF only, applications with limited content, and applications that do not offer any features. Google also lists apps that can't load, aren't responsive, and so on.

With this step, it will simultaneously improve the quality of the Google Play store itself, and offer better applications to users. Google says this new change will take effect on August 31, 2024.
