Google Will Reportedly Take Over A Cloud Securities Company At The Value Of RM107 Billion

Alphabet as everyone knows is the parent company of Google. They are reportedly about to do the biggest takeover of a company in history. This company Wiz specializes in cloud security.

According to WSJ, Alphabet is in discussions to take over Wiz with a value of $23 billion which is around RM107,528,187,007. The decision is said to be not yet final but sources are confident that it will happen in the near future. Wiz is known for its security technology that scans data on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and various other cloud services to detect whether or not there are any security vulnerabilities.

This acquisition is said to be Alphabet's strategy to further expand Google's cloud business. In the first quarter of this year alone, they have earned an increase in revenue of up to 28%, reaching $9.57 billion. In the near future, this acquisition of Wiz by Google may not affect any users. However, the future for security and protection of user data on Google's cloud services looks brighter.
