Honor MagicPad 2 Announced With 144Hz OLED Screen And Snapdragon 8s Gen 3



The last product introduced by Honor today is the MagicPad 2 tablet. It looks premium with a combination of a thin body and an attractive finish. In addition, the internal hardware is also quite powerful with the latest processing chips.




Sharing more this tablet uses a 12.3″ OLED screen with a resolution of 3000 X 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz. This is further combined with the screen's ability to display a peak brightness of 1600nits and has 4329Hz PWM Dimming technology to minimize flicker issues. Also included is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip which is the mainstay of the device. Then the memory options are up to 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage.





The latest operating system MagicOS 8.0.1 based on Android 14 is also provided with the capabilities of various AI-based features. It includes Voiceprint Noise Reduction, Cloud AI Big Model and support for real-time voice-to-text conversion when used in teleconferencing sessions. Honor also equips this tablet with a 10,050mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging. In addition to loading a 13MP main camera with LED Flash and a 9MP selfie.




Various other supported features include three built-in microphones, eight IMAX speakers, support for Magic Pencil 3 stylus input and bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. All the mentioned features are used in a device body that is 5.8mm thick and weighs only 555 grams. The tablet is sold at a starting price of RMB2999 (~RM1,930), RMB3299 (~RM2,123), RMB3699 (~RM2,380) and RMB4199 (~RM2,702) in China.
