Meta has today launched AI Studio for users to create their own AI characters as representatives to communicate with followers alike including replying to comments. According to Meta, this feature is perfect for content creators as well as business accounts.
AI Studio is developed based on the Llama 3.1 model. According to Meta, AI Studio is ready to be used on the web or directly from the Instagram application. To use it, users can choose an existing prom template for the character of this AI character or even use their own prom. Whether you want to generate an AI character that can teach cooking, that can help generate captions, or even a comedian to entertain your followers.
Each of these AI characters can also set their own personality to be more like yourself as a digital representative or even a different personality. Meta also uses data in Instagram to allow this AI character to respond to comments, reply to messages in DMs and more in the same style as you. An example of an AI character that has been generated is Eat Like You Live There! as a chef, What Lens Bro as a photography expert, or even Sammy The Stress Ball as a meme generator.
For now it is only offered in the United States and it is not sure when it will come to Malaysia. At the time of writing, Meta AI is not yet available and access via VPN has also been blocked.
