Micron Showcases Crucial P310 SSD For Portable Consoles And High-Performance Small PCs

Micron, a manufacturer of memory components for the purpose of RAM and storage, has recently shown their latest offering, the Crucial P310 SSD storage, a compact PCIe 4.0 SSD that comes with a compact design that can fit in small-sized computer devices.

As said, the Crucial P310 comes with a compact design, using the M.2 2230 design which is much shorter than other M.2 SSD designs such as the 2280 and 2260, where the last two digits indicate the length of the storage.

The Crucial P310 SSD comes in 1TB and 2TB sizes and has a data reading speed as fast as 7100MB/s and is quite efficient in power consumption, where it is suitable for use in small devices.

In fact, Crucial says that the P310 SSD is 40 percent faster when compared to PCIe 4.0 SSDs with the same design on the market today. They also say that this storage can be paired together with the ASUS ROG Ally/Ally X PC console and even the Steam Deck without a problem.

It can also be used in any compact laptop and small PC that supports the M.2 2230 SSD design.

For now, the Crucial P310 is sold in selected markets at a price of $171.99 for the 1TB model and $264.99 for the 2TB model. So far it is not known yet when this SSD will be introduced for the local market.
