The game Minesweeper became popular after it was introduced in Windows 3.11 in 1990. Until today Microsoft still offers this game with a more modern interface and gameplay. Most recently, Netflix wants to offer the same game with the same title through Netflix Games.
Like the regular Minesweeper, this Netflix version of the game also requires the player to mark the grid with flags and to carefully avoid the grid with bombs that will defeat the player. What is unique with the Netflix version is the more interactive gameplay such as colorful themes, 3D graphic elements and a Journey Mode that takes players to different levels according to the theme of various countries.
As always, all Netflix Games games are part of a monthly Netflix subscription. Minesweeper can be downloaded through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and the first account is the same as a Netflix account.
