Netflix Won't Offer Subscription Bundles With Competing Platforms

Earlier this morning, Netflix released their financial report and some of the details shared looked interesting enough that I myself can't wait to see what Netflix plans next. In this report Netflix explained that they will not offer subscription bundles with competing streaming platforms.

The streaming platform's subscription bundle offering has become popular overseas as it saves users money compared to subscribing one by one. In Malaysia, Unifi and Astro are among those offering this subscription package. According to Netflix, offering subscription bundles of competing platforms does them no favors because Netflix itself is a local hub of diverse content with the best user experience in the industry.

At the same time, Netflix's financial report also revealed that many Netflix customers are interested in ad plans because they are cheaper so that 45% of new customers subscribe to this ad plan. In Malaysia, plans with ads are still not offered, but if you want to save money, subscriptions with Astro and Unifi might help.
