For years device manufacturers have not offered devices with metal bodies. Now everyone wants glass, plastic, aluminum or a combination of different materials for their own premium value. OnePlus recently teased that the upcoming Nord uses a metal build material.
OnePlus India's partnership at X says “Metal welded with courage”, hinting that the new Nord device will use metal on the body. It could also be that OnePlus has developed a unique new build material such as a metal finish but other key materials. The source also shared an image from the leaker claiming that this image is of the OnePlus Nord 4 device.
If true, it looks like metal on the frame of the device, like glass or plastic on the camera bump and there is the use of dual-tone because the bottom of the camera looks like a dull black. The device is said to use a 6.74-inch OLED Tianma U8+ screen, 1,5K + 120Hz, powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, 5500mAh battery with 100W charging, 50+8 rear and 16MP front cameras.
