Oppo has confirmed the existence of the new device Find X8 Ultra through an interview with its product manager, Zhou Yibao. Although it is still in the development stage, there are some interesting things about it that have been shared. It includes the device will have a thinner body than the Find X7 Ultra which is 9.5mm thick. It is also said that the camera bump will also be smaller, allowing the device to be lighter.
In addition, the device can also be loaded with a larger 6,000mAh battery compared to the 5000mAh used in the Find X7 Ultra. It looks interesting because Oppo is able to offer better battery capacity in a thinner device body. Even so, it is not surprising when other manufacturers also do similar things on their latest devices, especially for the flagship segment.
The body of the device is said to pass the IP68 standard so users do not have to worry about damage caused by water. With the glass back finish, the device will look more premium. There are still no technical details revealed so far but early expectations suggest the device could retain dual periscope cameras along with a high refresh rate front panel.
