Realme And Sony Collaborate To Develop New Sensor LYT-701



Artificial intelligence (AI) in mobile photography is not limited to image processing to improve quality. In fact, it helps in optimizing the image, thus providing a more visually interesting experience. At this stage we witness that development has changed many aspects in life which includes presenting a work creatively.



In an effort to deliver new value to users, Realme today introduces the latest innovation that makes it possible to revolutionize mobile photography for the better. Through the Realme AI Imaging Media Preview event that took place in Bangkok, Realme's partnership focused on how AI is able to change the 'game' in mobile photography and further open up a space that can be easily accessed by everyone.




The event themed "The Future is Here: AI is Revolutionizing Mobile Imaging" was also graced with a keynote speech by the General Manager of TÃœV Rheinland Greater China Electrical, Sven-Olaf Steinke who shared his views on the innovation of mobile photography. Followed by a video presentation by the Vice President of Sony Semiconductor Solutions (Shanghai) Limited, Toshimitsu Kurosaka who announced a new collaboration between Sony and Realme for the development of the new LYT-701 sensor that will be used in the upcoming Realme 13 Pro 5G series.





Realme says the sensor will usher in a new era in mobile photography while meeting imaging needs for all kinds of shooting scenarios. The situation is further improved when it is also paired with Realme's own imaging technology known as HYPERIMAGE+. Through it Realme promises a great photography experience with excellent performance even in low light. In addition to being assisted by Realme's HyperRAW AI Algorithm which is capable of processing image data in the RAW domain further improving image clarity and dynamic range to capture pure light and shadow.




There are also AI-based features available that include AI Pure Bokeh, AI Natural Skin Tone and AI Ultra Clarity for the production of more attractive portraits. With AI Pure Bokeh, the device's camera can accurately identify background elements in various scenes and then create cinematic portraits. AI Natural Screen Tone enhances the natural look of various skin tones using artificial intelligence on the device. Meanwhile, the AI ​​Ultra Clarity cloud-based image editing feature can improve image quality to be sharper and clearer.



Also complementing the device is a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with a Sony LYT-600 sensor that supports optical zoom up to 3X. At the same time it has High Resolution Camera Certification from TÃœV Rheinland for exceptional image clarity in various lighting conditions. The series has been confirmed to arrive sometime this month but has not been detailed about the date.
