Redmi 13 5G Launched With 120Hz Screen And Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Chip

The Redmi 13 5G was launched in India a while ago with new entry-level specifications. It looks similar to the previous 4G model with the difference in processor chip and higher refresh rate. Through it the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip is used as the mainstay of the device.

It is paired with a 6.79″ LCD screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It's a more interesting upgrade than the 90Hz screen on the 4G model. Memory options consist of 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. This offer however depends on the respective market. The camera setup consists of a 108MP primary paired with a 2MP macro sensor. The selfie camera is 8MP and is placed in a small hole on the front screen.

Other specifications include a 5,030mAh battery, side fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack and IP53 waterproofing. The device is sold starting at INR13,999 (~RM788) (6/128GB) and INR15,499 (~RM873) (8/128GB) in black, blue and silver colors. There are no details for its offering in Malaysia but you can still get the 4G version which is sold at RM699.
