One of my favorite and unique smartphones is the LG Wing. It is a normal looking smartphone, but when the main screen is rotated another small square screen is exposed. I got to use this device for a while and despite the specifications of a mid-range phone it still provides a flagship device experience.
Recently, Samsung was found to have been awarded a patent through the WIPO website that they also have an idea like the LG Wing. Interestingly, after the main screen is rotated, not only the small screen will be exposed but the main screen also has a hinge to change the position of the screen like a laptop or folding phone. The patent also shows several modes of use that are not clear for what.
Knowing Samsung, many features are sure for productivity and creative work again with AI. In addition, more efficient multi-tasking features and immersive gaming may also be enjoyed. For now it is still uncertain if this patent will be made a reality as a Galaxy device or a new series device. Maybe, this patent will be buried forever. What do you think of this look?
