Samsung BM1743 Is SSD Storage With 61.44TB Capacity For Data Center Use

Samsung has recently introduced SSD storage for their latest data center, which is the Samsung BM1743, an SSD storage that comes with a storage capacity as high as 61.44TB.

The Samsung BM1743 SSD comes with support for PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 5.0 connections without any problems, and comes with a fast data reading speed of 7200MB/s and a data writing rate of 2000MB/s for use in writing data into server machines in data centers. This SSD also comes with a total of 1.6 million random 4K data reads and 110 thousand random 4K data writes, which is good enough for the purposes of data storage and fast access to data.

Samsung uses their seventh-generation V-NAND QLC storage chip for this SSD for greater capacity, and although it is seen that the data reading and writing rate of this storage is seen as normal, for the purpose of long-term data storage and also fast access, SSD this has its own uses.

In the meantime, Samsung also said that they have plans to introduce a storage offering of 122.88TB soon, but for now, this 61TB offering will be shown first to Samsung data center customers.
