This year Samsung has unveiled a new wearable device called the Galaxy Ring. The smart ring is said to last up to 9 days, is expected to be available in various sizes by August and there may be a subscription plan. Recently, Android Authority discovered some interesting features for the Galaxy Ring through hidden code in the Samsung Health app.
Galaxy Ring like most wearable devices on the market i.e. the watch will support pulse scanning, pressure tracking, skin temperature for menstrual prediction, and most interestingly it can also track the user's snoring sleep. This snoring feature however requires the Samsung device to be charged while sleeping and the user must allow the Samsung Health app to record audio during sleep.
So far, the Galaxy Ring's features are similar to the Galaxy Watch. What is uncertain is whether Samsung's first smart ring supports haptics for notifications or will be limited to health and fitness monitoring only. Let's wait for more information together.
