Samsung is one of the collaboration partners for the prestigious sport, and in parallel will also offer Samsung's latest flip phone to nearly 17,000 athletes worldwide who will compete in the tournament.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition is a smartphone that comes with Galaxy Ai integration to facilitate a number of things, including using it to interact and perform real-time translation. It also comes with a Flipsuit Case, which is a special outer frame with an Olympic sports theme.
In addition to various interesting features on the Galaxy Z Flip6, for this special edition, the athletes will also receive an eSIM that offers 100GB of 5G data, as well as Samsung's international warranty for two years. It also comes with free drink passes at vending machines in the Olympic village, while also offering transport passes integrated with Samsung Wallet.
Samsung also said that for the first time, this Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition phone can be used on the podium of the tournament, allowing athletes to take selfies after winning an event.
Athletes competing in the Olympic Games will start receiving the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition starting July 18, 2024. The normal version will go on sale in Malaysia soon at a price starting at RM4999.
