Snapchat+ Customers Can Now Share Stories That Expires After 0.10 Seconds

In 2013, Snapchat launched their Stories feature which is a sharing that will expire after 24 hours. Aware of the popularity of this feature, after three years Instagram introduced their Stories feature and gradually more and more social media platforms brought more or less the same feature including Telegram. Most recently, Snap introduced a Snaps sharing feature that can expire as fast as 0.10 seconds.

This new update is over 9 million Snapchat+ subscribers. These paid users can test new features early before Snapchat plans to offer these new features to free users. Snaps are photos or videos that can be shared on Stories and now give users control over when they will expire. Users can choose as low as 0.10 seconds, 0.25, 0.50 and more.

Then there is Snap Map which can now add virtual houses. This house can be modified by the user to suit his own taste and profile. The digital pets available in Snapchat are now also no longer limited to the Snap Map but can also appear in chat rooms along with the user's Bitmoji.

Mirror was also introduced as a mirror that uses the device's camera for users to modify Bitmoji characters to be more similar to their identity. Lastly is Lenses with generative AI that can transform user sharing into a variety of interesting subjects such as changing self-images to childhood images and more. This new update has now been activated for eligible users.
