Qualcomm has introduced the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip as a more affordable alternative to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This chip has been used in many interesting devices such as Poco F6 or realme GT6. Most recently, Qualcomm may arrive with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, which is said to be an alternative chip to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 for premium mid-range devices.
The specs of this chip have been leaked with a very confusing GPU. Flagship chips like Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 use Adreno 750 or Adreno 7xx series GPUs. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is said to use the Adreno 810 GPU. Whether this is a more powerful GPU but not a CPU or a rebranding for Adreno is still unclear.
The chip configuration is 1x 2.5Ghz + 3x 2.4Ghz + 4x 1.8Ghz and is said to be used in realme, Redmi, Motorola and vivo devices. The selling price of the device with this new chip is expected to be around RM2500 and below.
