Yesterday the Sony ZV-E10 II camera was launched as an update model for the original ZV-E10 from 2021. Like the first model, the ZV-E10 II focuses on content creators and vloggers.
It features a 26-MP Exmor R CMOS APS-C sensor paired with a Bionz XR image processing chip. According to Sony, the capabilities of the ZV-E10 II are comparable to the a6700 and FX30 cameras that are also produced by them. The camera can also record video up to 4K/60p 10-bit 4:2:2 through S-Log or S-Cinetone mode.
Improvements have also been made to the speed of autofocus. Cinematic mode is provided with it recording video at 2.35:1 ratio and 24p frame rate. For social media creators, the camera interface has been updated to facilitate vertical video recording. Finally the battery is now better with it being able to provide up to 130 minutes of recording time compared to only 80 minutes on the first model.
The Sony ZV-E10 II sells for $999 (~RM4687) for the body only or $1,099 (~RM5158) with the Sony 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II lens.
