Last month, Starlink announced that they will be introducing a Starlink Mini satellite internet subscription service where customers can take their satellite dish to use in a variety of different locations.
Recently, Starlink has started selling this portable satellite dish to customers in the United States first, where it comes with an ownership price tag of $599. This product is seen to combine a satellite dish and also a WiFi router in one package that makes it easier for their customers to allow them to use this internet connection anywhere in the country.
What is unique about this product is that it is compact enough to be powered by a 100W USB-PD charging connection and comes in the size of a compact laptop that is easy to carry anywhere.
Previously, Starlink Mini was offered only to Starlink Residential customers, but Starlink now also offers it to Starlink Roam customers who may be digital nomads who work not only outside the office, but may be closer to the environment, who are limited to 50GB of data usage per month and a data transmission speed of 100Mbps.
So far it is not known when the Starlink Mini will be offered for markets outside the United States, especially Malaysia.
