U Mobile today announced the formation of a strategic partnership with TIME, where both parties aim to prepare for the accelerated development of 5G under the government's 5G dual-network model. This collaboration sees U Mobile using the TIME network in the development and introduction of the second 5G network.
U Mobile also stated that this step also shows their readiness in developing the country's 5G network quickly, using various latest technology capabilities. Both parties will also share various related matters, including technical expertise in network development.
Previously, U Mobile has collaborated with TIME in using the TIME network to provide U Home Fiber service offerings that cover more than 1 million homes, especially in high-rise buildings in Peninsular Malaysia.
