U Mobile today expanded their digital services through the announcement of a new initiative, named "Pilot Project : Digital School". Through it, the telecommunications company focuses on digitizing educational institutions through various services and digital solutions.
For the first stage of this initiative, U Mobile introduced a cashless ecosystem pilot project in four public schools, through which it focused on smart money management through a digital payment platform.
This includes enabling school students to make non-cash transactions to pay for food in the canteen, buy goods at the cooperative, or the school bookstore. This step is also expected to lead to efficient money management, in addition to preparing students for the digital economy era.
U Mobile made this school's cashless program a success through collaboration with Vircle, which is ready to offer cashless solutions for schools. Touching on this program as well, U Mobile stated that it will sponsor this program for a year in implementing a cashless ecosystem in public schools.
