Many Chinese Android device manufacturers now offer their own battery saving features. Either increase charging speed, bypass charging, hibernate mode, monochrome mode and more. Most recently, Google will introduce their own iteration of Android 15 specifically for the Pixel.
Google will finally allow users to choose a setting that limits the charging percentage to only 80% and will not increase to 100%. This is similar to what Apple does. This setting will guarantee the health of the battery and it will have a longer lifespan. It is a better feature than Adaptive Charging which changes the charging power according to the user's charging pattern.
Google brought this feature after the Pixel Tablet had more or less the same feature when it was docked. This Google tablet will only charge to 70%-80% after several detected always connected to the dock. Slowly more and more Android device manufacturers are following Apple's strategy for device battery health.
