Various Weapons For Ukraine Against Russia Developed By Pilot Company

The Ukraine-Russia conflict has been going on for over 18 months and one of the interesting things learned is that the lack of resources forces creative solutions to be used to solve problems on the battlefield. If Russia is developing remote-controlled tanks and hoverboards are being modified into anti-tank drones, hundreds of Ukrainian startups are also developing home-made weapons to counter Russia. Among them is a company owned by Andrii Denysenko that develops transporter robots that are controlled using a remote control device.

The military robot being tested, named Odyssey, has been shown in prototype form with tank-like tracks. The main function of this robot is for the purpose of rescue and carrying supplies but it can be modified to carry a heavy machine gun that can be operated remotely. It is similar to the THeMIS design developed by SK Kinetics Singapore.

Efforts to develop military robots like this received good support from the Ukrainian government. Similarly, Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister of Digital Transformation also encouraged his people to take free courses and install aerial drones at home to enable a million flying machines to be produced within a year to help further empower drone technology and the use of robots for war purposes.

The Ukraine-Russia conflict proved that cheap homemade drones can be used as effective weapons on the battlefield. In the early stages of the conflict, DJI drones were modified to perform aerial bombing missions. It later evolved into a kamikaze-style hunting machine that hunted down Russian troops using modified grenades.

It was effective enough to cause the Chinese Army to begin anti-drone training while the United States redoubled efforts to develop anti-drone systems such as Leonidas and THOR laser weapons.

The development of military robots like this brings great hope to the entire Ukrainian people to be able to drive out the Russian army and allow soldiers and civilians to be safe from death.
