WhatsApp Will Use Its Own Translation Technology

It seems that there are changes to the translation feature by WhatsApp that will be offered. According to WABetaInfo, no Google Translate technology will be used, instead WhatsApp will use its own translation technology directly built into WhatsApp.

Later, the user will be asked to download the language pack so that all translation processes can be processed from within the device. The user is seen to have to select the text to be translated, there is also an option to translate all the text automatically and the label "Translated" or "Translated" will be displayed for the user's knowledge that it is not the original text.

Six languages will be offered namely English, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, and Hindi. For now this feature is still hidden and is being tested in WhatsApp Beta for Android version 2.24.15.12. There is no information when this feature will arrive to everyone and whether Samsung devices will use the same technology or use Galaxy AI. Let's wait together.
