Google Gemini is finally offered in Malaysia after months of replacing the Google Assistant application. It also supports the Malay language to make it easier for users in Malaysia who have been relying on Copilot for a long time. Most recently, Google Gemini will bring support for editing or modifying images generated by Imagen.
In Google Gemini, after the next generated image it will remember the already generated core image. Then, users can modify the image by sketching on the background to select areas to change or select objects to remove. Gemini will generate a new photo with the original subject preserved. An example the source gives is Gemini generating an image of two dogs on the street and it can change the background to a residential area.
At the moment the feature is still in the testing stage and it is not certain when it will be rolled out to all users. Google Gemini also plans to give Gemini Advanced customers access to Imagen-3, so it may be a premium feature.
