Do you remember the Acer Iconia Android tablet? As I recall the last time it was launched was in 2014 and now after 10 years it is back again. Two Android tablets have suddenly arrived in the Malaysian market namely Tab P11 and Tab P8.
Acer Iconia Tab P11
The Tab P11 is a basic mid-range Android tablet, with an 11-inch 2K resolution QLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chip, paired with 8/256 GB memory, a 13MP main camera and a 5MP selfie camera, using Bluetooth 5.0 and an 8000mAh battery with PD 2.0 fast charging.
This tablet uses a solid aluminum body and looks premium. It runs Android 14 operating system and only supports WiFi connection. For audio, it uses a stereo system with four audio drivers. The tablet is also equipped with Google Entertainment Space, instead of Google Now which focuses on entertainment and reading content from Google TV, YouTube, Play Books and various other platforms.
Acer Iconia Tab A8
The Tab A8 is an entry-level Android tablet with an 8.7-inch TFT CineCrystal screen with WXGA+ resolution. It is paired with 4/128 GB memory and powered by the Allwinner A523 chip. The camera is 8MP on the back and 2MP on the front and is also equipped with a 6000mAh battery. The Google Entertainment Space feature is also included like the Tab P11.
For the selling price, the Tab P11 is sold at RM1099 while the Tab A8 is sold at RM699. In conjunction with the launch this week until 14 September 2024, you can get this tablet for RM999 and RM499.
