Today Alibaba Cloud has announced their commitment to empowering local technology talent through the Digital Accelerator Program which will involve educational institutions, startups and even PMKS. In the same event, Alibaba Cloud also announced their plans for a 3rd Data Center in Malaysia.
Until now they have had 2 Alibaba Cloud Data Centers in Malaysia since 2017, to facilitate and speed up their customers' access to their cloud infrastructure. This third Data Center is still in planning and may be completed within 3 years.
In other news, Alibaba Cloud also announced that local users can now access Model Studio, which is their AI-generated service that uses the LLM Qwen database that also has up to hundreds of billions of parameters. The service is available through 'Availability Zones' based in Singapore, and will provide more AI-generated options for local users.
