Amazon has now filed a lawsuit against Nokia, claiming that the popular telecommunications company infringes on a number of Amazon's patents - mainly related to cloud computing technology.
Amazon said Nokia infringed on some AWS-owned technologies, including in terms of infrastructure, cloud computing performance and security. Amazon also says they have been leading the cloud computing arena since the early 2000s, and introduced AWS in 2006. On the other hand, Nokia only joined the cloud computing arena around 2020.
Nokia said they are considering this matter, and will defend themselves in court.
