Intel has just begun to issue updates on their micro code issues that cause their CPU components to die slowly. The AMD has also recently issued a statement on their biggest securities issue so far, a sinkclose bug.
The bug is present at the kernel level, which means that when a computer is already affected by other malicious software and is given long distance access, it allows hackers to access the various types of data contained in any computers powered AMD processing chips.
AMD recently issued a statement that only their "new" CPU series, from the AMD Ryzen 5000 series for desktop computers and AMD Ryzen 4000 for computers, will receive this kernel update, including EPYC, Threadripper and AMD instinct.
As such, they also confirm that the AMD Ryzen 3000 CPU series and below, along with the AMD Threadripper 1000 and 2000 CPU series with a longer CPU series will not accept this securities update.
This vulnerability can only be used by them with the expertise of hacking specific computers and knowing that these computers are facing these issues, such as large hackers and international intelligence groups.
