Anker Launches Charger With Controllable Power and Port Priority



We have reviewed several device chargers that come with more than one charging port. Although it can charge multiple devices simultaneously, each port can only offer charging at a certain power. In all cases, the power will be reduced according to the situation and it cannot be controlled by the owner.



Today Anker Prime Charger was launched and it comes with a unique feature where the charging power can be adjusted manually and even more unique is that the user can give priority to the port that needs to be given full power all the time. The power can be changed using the knob on the right side of the charger.


It comes with four USB-C ports and two USB-A ports with a total charging power of up to 250W. One USB-C port charges at a maximum output of 140W and the other three up to 100W. In addition, two USB-A ports each charge at 22.5W power.



There are four charging modes that can be used with the first being the AI ​​mode that automatically supplies power according to the device's needs. The second mode provides maximum power on the port of the user's choice throughout the mode. The third mode gives priority to the two ports that charge the laptop. The last mode is a low power mode chosen to extend the battery life of the device.


The LCD screen on the front will display the charging status, the power supplied and can also display the time. This charger can also be controlled using the Anker app as it can be connected to WiFi. In the United States, the Anker Prime Charger is sold for $170 (~RM761) apiece.
