Apple : "No Price Microsoft Can Pay To Include Bing As Safari's Main Search Engine"



Google has recently been found guilty of practicing a monopoly in the search business. In addition to that, some further sharing on the trial is now present on the web arena.


Through the statement of Eddy Cue, Apple's vice president for services, it is said that there is no other alternative than using Google's search engine on their products. He was also quoted as saying that there is no price that Microsoft can offer to use the Bing search engine as the main search engine on Safari.


It is also emphasized that Microsoft once offered to give Bing directly to Apple for free. Several things led to Apple's rejection of Bing, including the quality of its search results not being as good as Google's, in addition to Bing not being very good at optimizing their advertising revenue. While Google offers a high financial return to Apple, besides Google is seen to understand the search engine industry more than others.
