ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is a laptop in the design of a tablet that resembles a Microsoft Surface Pro computer, but comes with components that focus more on gaming features.
This model was introduced a few years ago, but for about two years it did not come with any new model. ASUS seems to have worked hard to give this laptop a new design. This can be seen through a design image leaked to the web arena showing the design of the new ROG Flow Z13 cooler.
Where the ROG Flow Z13 model previously used a combination of Intel and NVIDIA CPU and GPU, the model that will be introduced next year seems to use an AMD Strix Halo APU processing chip that comes with a total TDP as high as 115W when the electricity consumption of both CPU and GPU components combined.
The cooling design on the new model is seen to be larger, and cooling a single APU component is easier compared to a separate CPU and GPU. According to leaked information, this cooling design is more efficient in dissipating heat, but will cause the tablet to come with a thicker design.
More details about this laptop are expected to be seen early next year, possibly during the CES 2025 event in Las Vegas.
