ASUS is a technology brand that is well known for their wide range of electronic equipment and accessories, especially in the PC industry. Recently, at the ongoing Gamescom event in Germany, they have introduced a number of their latest WiFi 7 router products that will be marketed later.
These products include the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 router, the ASUS RT-BE86U and the ASUS ROG USB-BE92 WiFi adapter. All of these introduced products come with support for WiFi 7 wireless internet network technology, which now comes with a variety of features that promise a fast, stable and secure internet connection.
Starting with the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000, this model once again comes with a fierce gamer aesthetic. As said, it supports WiFi 7 wireless internet technology that can not only transmit WiFi signals on the 6GHz spectrum but also supports Multi-Link Operation features.
In short, this feature combines all the data transmitted on other spectrums such as 2.4GHz, 5.0GHz and 6.0GHz in one connection. In theory, this allows the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 router to transmit data connections as fast as 19Gbps.
Not only that, if you want to transmit a 5G or 4G LTE mobile internet connection, you can do it by connecting a modem with a network SIM card to this WiFi router via a USB connection, and it will transmit it as if you were using a normal fiber optic connection.
With this router, you can also create five different guest networks using the Guest Network Pro feature. Meanwhile, you can also set VPN and parental controls for certain devices connected to your networks.
If you want to develop a WiFi 7 network but don't want to pay too much money for features that may not be used, the ASUS RT-BE86U might be for you. This WiFi 7 router comes with a Multi-Link Operation feature that promises a WiFi connection as fast as 6800MHz, and up to 20Gbps with a wired connection using a combination of built-in 2.5Gbps and 10Gbps plugs.
Just like the Rapture GT-BE19000 router, it also comes with Guest Network Pro technology where you can set various types of network profiles and connection settings on devices connected to your network.
If your computer does not have support for WiFi 7 networks, ASUS also presents the ASUS ROG USB-BE92 USB adapter. This adapter can be installed on both USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C and Type-A plugs.
This adapter allows you to take advantage of the fast speed of WiFi 7 routers and networks by giving access to new frequencies such as 6GHz, and also allows your PC to use features such as Multi-Link Operation for fast WiFi speeds.
For now, the price tag and sale date for these products are not known yet.
