Brazil's Supreme Court Orders X To Appoint A Representative, Or The Service Will Be Blocked

Earlier this month, Elon Musk closed the X/Twitter office in Brazil for refusing to follow the country's government order to censor content displayed on the platform.

Recently, the Supreme Court of the country, through judge Alexandre de Moraes has given Elon Musk and X 24 hours from this morning to appoint an individual to represent them, or the social media service will be blocked from the internet in Brazil.

The directive also says that any company, including X, needs to respect the laws and regulations of the internet in that country to be allowed to operate normally, and X is no exception to this.
