Exciting news for TikTok fans everywhere! Che Sayang Kitchen, a familiar name in the culinary world, has been named ‘Creator of the Year’ at the TikTok Malaysia Awards 2024. This is an impressive achievement for Che Sayang, who outshone other content creators like Ryan Bakery, Sofyank, Shi Qi, Daddy Hood, and Sofea Shra.
Che Sayang, whose real name is Qayyum Halid, expressed gratitude for the win. He said, “I want to thank everyone who voted. I never expected to achieve this, but with hard work, anything is possible. Thanks to my family, all my supporters, and everyone who’s been with me every day. If you can dream it, you can work hard to achieve it.”
Che Sayang took home a trophy and a new smartphone as part of the prize.
In the same event, the Celebrity Of The Year award went to Bella Astillah. Bella, whose full name is Dayang Ara Nabella Awang Astillah, thanked TikTok and her fans for their support. She said, “I never thought I’d win. Thank you to everyone who voted. TikTok has given me many new opportunities, and I hope we all continue to make the most of this platform.”
The special Changemaker Of The Year award was given to Brader Wheel Chair and Lokohopunohgroup for their courage in pursuing dreams and supporting the community.
For popular categories, TikTok Live Creator of the Year was won by Acap S (Asraf Jaafar), Video Of The Year went to Agy Official, and TikTok Shop Creator of the Year was awarded to Pinn Yang.
In jury-selected categories, Entertainment Creator Of The Year was Kanafly, Animation Creator Of The Year was Yimotapir, Gaming Creator Of The Year was Kingshahx, Sports Creator Of The Year was Amaranas, Food Creator Of The Year was Tang Guo Shop, Education Creator Of The Year was Aminxabid, and Beauty and Fashion Of The Year was Aishah Rahim.
The TikTok Malaysia Awards 2024 was hosted by Che Puan Sarimah Ibrahim and Janna Nick, with Ain Edruce and Ceddy Ang as red carpet hosts. The event was further energized by performances from popular artists such as Aina Abdul, Naim Daniel, Aisha Retno, Sarah Suhairi, and many more.
