Details of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Graphics Card For Streamlined Laptops

Typically, new generation graphics cards for laptops will only be shown when most of the new graphics cards for desktop computers have already been introduced. Recently, it seems that the chairman of a Chinese laptop maker has provided some details about the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop graphics card.

Wu Haijun, the chairman of laptop maker Hasee has revealed some details about the laptop's graphics card at a private event. He said that the graphics card will use GDDR7 memory along with the new Blackwell graphics processing chip.

This somewhat confirms that the GeForce RTX 5000 series of graphics cards will use the next generation of GDDR7 memory, doubling the memory performance compared to the previous GDDR6/6X memory offerings.

It is expected that this graphics card, which will be equipped with 8GB of GDDR7 memory will feature better Ray-Tracing processing performance compared to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card for laptops.

Not only that, the total power consumption may also come with a lower value with a TDP of 115W compared to the 140W shown on the GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card.

In fact, Wu Haijun said that all the graphics cards in the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5000 series will not only come with better performance than the previous series, but also have a lower TDP (total electrical power consumption) value.

If true, it would not be surprising if a laptop with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card would be the best choice for gamers who want to change their gaming laptop in the future and do not want to spend too much money for good performance at Full HD resolution and also QHD.

So far it is not known when NVIDIA will start showing the GeForce RTX 5000 series of graphics cards for laptops, but if these rumored details are true, NVIDIA may be building them now.
