OpenAI seems to be continuing to offer more interesting features to the free ChatGPT offering – allowing them to stay competitive with services like Google Gemini, Meta AI and others. Recently, OpenAI also introduced the facility for users of the free version of ChatGPT to generate images directly through the service.
For the purpose of generating this image, it will use the DALL-E 3 model that is already offered to paid users since September 2023. Free version users are limited to generating up to two images per day only.
Since it is directly integrated on ChatGPT, users can also ask it to generate appropriate proms, and generate pictures directly through the same window. This new service is being rolled out gradually to all free ChatGPT users worldwide.
