Garmin Enduro 3 Is A Rugged Watch With 90 Day Battery

Garmin expands its range of smart watches by introducing the Enduro 3. It is dedicated to those who enjoy doing outdoor activities with a variety of unique functions. In addition, the watch is also durable and scratch-resistant because it is built with Power Sapphire protective glass and a high-quality titanium bezel.

The Enduro 3 comes in a 26mm size option with a 1.4″ color AMOLED screen with a resolution of 280 X 280 pixels. The size is not too small or too big when compared to the previous generation, in fact it is light with a weight of only 63 grams. It also has a new solar panel on the watch face that helps improve battery life, and also features a built-in flashlight for nighttime use.

Also included are standard health and fitness features that include heart rate monitoring. Various sports activities such as running, swimming, walking and cycling can be done through the built-in sports mode. In addition, Garmin also improves its performance with some special features such as Trail Run VO2 Max, Ultrarun Activity, Advanture Racing Activity, ClimbPro and so on.

There's also SaltlQ technology that can extend battery life while delivering multi-band GPS accuracy throughout activity. It is a technology that works in the background that can automatically select the satellite mode that suits the environment.

With the support of TopoActive Map, it allows users to always be aware of their respective locations. No built-in microphone and speaker means no ability to make calls from the watch. But users can still get support for two-way text messaging through the Garmin Messenger app, and have safety tools like LiveTrack and Garmin Pay contactless payments.

The addition of ECG for AFib detection is also provided to further enhance functionality and a battery that can last 90 days in smartwatch mode and 320 hours in GPS tracking with solar charging. The Enduro 3 is sold starting at $899 (~RM3,878) with no details on availability in Malaysia known at this time.
