Google Chrome On Android Will Easier Support File Sharing To Other Apps

The fast file sharing feature greatly simplifies my daily tasks. Because of that the Quick Share feature by Google I use every day because of its ease of use and cross-platform support for Android and Windows. Recently, Google has tested another file sharing feature which is as easy as doing a drag and drop action in Google Chrome.

This feature is still in the early stages of development, where MSPoweruser found its code in Chrome for Android Dev version 129. A line of code "Enable DragDropFiles for M129" is said to allow users to drag and drop files from Chrome to other applications, possibly social media, Google Docs or file manager.

It is said to be a default feature in future stable updates. It is limited to Chrome for Android only. This feature is slightly different from Drop on Microsoft Edge which allows files in Edge on PC to Drop to Edge in Android devices.
