Today, Samsung Malaysia has launched the Galaxy A55 in a new color, Awesome Yellow. With the same selling price of RM1,999, this device starts to support Circle to Search which has been limited to Galaxy S, Galaxy Z and selected Google Pixel only. Not only that, Circle to Search has also been brought to more affordable Samsung devices.
In addition to the Galaxy A55, the Galaxy A35 also received the same feature. It is a Google search feature powered with AI, where users need to press and hold the home screen icon or the gesture bar below the screen > then circle the area you want to search or scratch on any text > the search results will display what you want to search for such as the price of the shirt, the location of the store and if the text will be translated.
According to Samsung, this feature is being rolled out in stages and users may need to update OneUI to the latest version. If not, because Circle to Search is a feature under the Google app you can check for updates on the Play Store.
