Google Pixel 9 users? You Can Now Test Android 15

Among the disappointing things for users of the Google Pixel 9 series is that it launched with Android 14 instead of the latest Android 15. This is a rare thing because every time a new Pixel is launched it comes with a new Android. Android 15 will only arrive to Pixel users and other Android devices in stages starting in October, but if you can't wait – a beta version is now available.

Just a few weeks after the Pixel 9 series was launched in Malaysia, you can now test Android 15 QPR1 Beta 1.1. For now, it is still limited to two devices only, the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL. If you are in the Android Beta for Pixel program, stay tuned for the OTA update – otherwise the image file can be downloaded via the link below.

Android 15 brings native private space features to hide apps, optimized for large screen devices, anti-theft features, third-party object tracker support and more. Although Android 15 QPR1 Beta is reported to be quite stable, it should be noted that using the development version there is still a risk of data loss so test at your own risk.
