Google Seen No Longer Display Prayer Times Directly On Search Results Pages

In 2018, Google introduced support for displaying prayer times directly on search results, making it easier for users to check prayer times by location and see them directly without having to open any additional pages. However, now, suddenly Google seems to have removed support for the display.

The reason behind this change is still unknown at this time. Previously, Google was also criticized on social media for displaying prayer times that were sometimes not very accurate and not the same as the prayer times displayed by Jakim's official sources. In addition, for information, Google has previously removed support for viewing the currency exchange for the Malaysian Ringgit after several times showing inaccurate exchange rates for the Malaysian market.

This change is seen to have an impact on a large number of users, while there are some who can still see the display of prayer times directly on the Google search page. In addition to Malaysia, the same support is also seen not displayed for a number of users in Indonesia. Alternatively, for now, you can view current prayer times by location through the official source, e-Solat by Jakim.
