If you top up Grab Wallet using a credit card, Grab will charge an additional 1% from 11 September 2024. Only top up using a Maybank credit card is exempt from any charges.
Customers can still top-up Grab Wallet without charge via debit card, GX Bank, and bank transfer. There is no reason why this new charge should be imposed next month and why only Maybank is given relief. For sure, those who do not want to be charged 1% will be encouraged to make changes to the application settings as soon as possible before the above date.
