In the electric car market in Malaysia, there is a demand for an SUV with 7 seats and Mercedes Benz has already offered it through the EQB 450 4Matic. Today they added another more luxurious model by launching the EQS 450 4Matic SUV.
This electric car with 7 seats has two electric motors that can provide power as much as 360hp with 800 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 6.1 seconds with a maximum speed of 210 km/h. The battery capacity is 118 kWh which provides a travel distance of 673 km WLTP. For charging purposes, it has 22kW AC charging that enables a 0-100% full charge in 6 hours 15 minutes, and 200kW DC fast charging that allows 10-80% battery capacity to be charged in 31 minutes.
In terms of interior trim, it is equipped with an MBUX Hyperscreen interface display system that combines a 12.3-inch driver's display, a 17.7-inch OLED display for multimedia control, a 12.3-inch OLED display for the front passenger providing a luxurious futuristic image. There are also two 11.6-inch displays for second-row passengers and are equipped with Dolby Atmos speakers and a Burmester sound system that provides 360-degree audio.
Completing the performance and finish, is a smart system and also comfort for users, such as 5 driving modes including 'Offroad' mode for rugged use, AIRMATIC air suspension system, level two self-driving system and also a 360 degree camera.
