Meta Restores Prime Minister Posts That Were Deleted Due To Operational Errors

Meta has reinstated the transmission uploaded by Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim which they say is due to an "operational error". A message of condolence to the family of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh was deleted from Facebook because it was labeled as containing "dangerous organization" content.

Meta also apologized to the Prime Minister due to the mistake that occurred according to a Reuters report. Heads of state should be given leeway to make posts that violate the site's terms because it is important for public awareness. Both posts that were deleted during the day now have the label "for public awareness" which was not displayed before.

This is a leniency that allows President Trump to violate various terms of the site. Trump was then suspended more than three years after ceasing to hold the office of the head of state of the United States.
