Microsoft Introduces New Windows Game Bar Mods Exclusively For Mobile PC Consoles

If you are a gamer, Windows Game Bar functionality is definitely not something new for you. This feature can be used to access a number of hidden features easily, such as screenshots, screen recording, computer performance display and so on.

One issue that plagues the use of the Windows Game Bar on mobile PC console devices is that its interface is not very friendly to small screen displays. Therefore, Microsoft, through Xbox has made an announcement that they will introduce a new mode called Compact Mode for these PC consoles.

Compact Mode for Windows Game Bar will allow users to not only access the features I mentioned just now, but also allow users to change games quickly and easily through the listing of games loaded on the console.

Along with this mod, Microsoft also introduced widgets that can be installed to access different features easily. The Home widget allows you to access games quickly, while the Resource widget allows you to easily optimize your computer's performance.

To access the Windows Game Bar on your mobile console, you can set a button as a shortcut for Win+G, or search for Game Bar and pin the icon to the desktop or taskbar.

For now, Compact Mode is only offered through the Xbox Insider program, and will be officially introduced in the future.
